FULL HOUSE!
We had LOTS of people show up last night (ok, maybe this picture is NOT of last night…..I was too busy to remember to take a picture of the group that showed up……).
We’d love to thank all those who showed up, and especially those who helped make it happen, like Susie Bradford-Vree, Trish Feistner, David Livingston-Lowe and Aaron Bradley.
We also wish to shout out to Warren at ClubInk (https://www.facebook.com/…/Club-Ink-Toronto/271436132873563…) who very kindly printed out our map for Street Captains to sign up, and to Trish (again!) at The Grinder (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Grinder/157588557592728?fref=ts) which supplied the refreshments for the evening.
Our first event will be on Family Day, Monday February 16, 2015. Join us starting at 12:00 noon at the Main Street Library for an historic walk with local historian Gene Domagala, which will wind its way through the area and end up at The Grover (https://www.facebook.com/TheGroverPubGrub?fref=ts) at about 1:00 pm for a pint.
Then, join us later the same day at 2:00 pm for a Skating Party at outdoor natural ice rink in Norwood Park (https://www.facebook.com/groups/413929708724479/?fref=ts). Enjoy hot chocolate and cookies!!
